November Trip in Napa

November Trip to Napa | Sally's Baking Addiction

Sitting here with hot peppermint tea in hand, 33°F outside, and a counter full of Christmas cookies makes this early November trip to Napa seem forever ago. Oh wait, it was! I was invited on a work trip with Panasonic and Napa being… well, NAPA… I brought Kevin along. This was our first time there.

I 100% miss that 70°F sunshine.

And the delicious bubbles. All the delicious bubbles!

It was a whirlwind trip to say the least. We were there for less than 72 hours which is quite short considering we flew across the country to get there! Our schedules were packed so we couldn’t stay longer, but we’re already dreaming about our next trip. Which, hopefully, will be a much longer stay. 🙂

One of our favorite parts was visiting Liana Estates and sampling their unique selection of wines. I’m by NO means a wine-o. Meaning, I hardly know anything about it. All I know is that it tastes good here and even better there.

Not to mention the breathtaking landscapes.

And the cheese. So very much cheese!

Q: Have you ever been to Napa?

  1. Yes, I have ! September 2015 with the hubby. I had been wanting to go for ages. I love wine and I was dying to experience the landscape and wineries of Napa Valley. It was everything and more than I had dreamed it would be !!

I immediately started asking all of the tour guides if there were openings for me ~ I was thinking I could move there and get a job as a tour guide at Castelo di Amarone ! Hey, I’m Italian too , ya know !
Alas, no relocation, but I also can’t wait to go back. The wine, the restaurants, the town of Napa itself is just adorable, the weather is perfect. I loved it.

  2. I’ve never been to Napa although our son who was stationed in California for a while has. He always said we should go see it — we DO enjoy our wine. Love your photos!

I live about an hour away and often visit in the Summer and pick nick outside !  It is so beautiful and relaxing and Good Food !  One  of my favorites is V. Satuui Winery !

P.S.  I love all the pictures and especially the one of you both !!

  4. I’ve never been to Napa but I’ve always wanted to go. These were great photos as always – it looks so peaceful there!

  5. I love Napa! But even though it’s nearby, I don’t get to go as often as I’d like. The place is so gorgeous and the atmosphere is just so relaxing! I haven’t been to Liana Estates, but seeing your photos make me want to soon. Were you able to go anywhere else while you were in Napa?

  6. I’ve never been to Napa but to CA a lot. One of these days! Beautiful photos Sally! Makes a person want to move there! I’d never survive with all that cheese! OMG…mouth watering. Thanks for sharing your adventure!

  7. I’ve never been but always wanted to go it looks like a dream! I’m pregnant so wine is not in my diet currently but somehow I’m surviving 🙂 Can’t wait until that first glass of vino, only a few more months! YEA! The pictures remind me of when I want to a wine tasting at Chateau Ste Michelle Winery in Washington, if you get a chance to do that sometime it is well worth it.
